Perivolos beach

Perivolos is an exceptionally long beach located to the south east of the island, just south of Perissa Beach. It is one of the more frequented beaches on the island ideal when north winds are blowing. It’s a stunning soft black (a little lighter sand than Perissa) sandy and pebbly beach that offers pristine waters filled with visitors during the summer.

Perivolos is well organized with umbrellas and sun beds, showers, toilets etc. and offers plenty of water sports such as jet-skiing, windsurfing, water skiing, parasailing and scuba diving.

It offers an array of cafes, taverns and restaurants serving up authentic Greek dishes as well as international fare. Here you can find a range of accommodation with something suitable for all types of visitors. There are some beach bars and clubs that attract a lively holiday crowd but for more extensive nightlife, head to Perissa.

It’s worthwhile to pay a visit to nearby Emporio with the narrow whitewashed alleyways and its gorgeous blue domed churches.
